This juror appreciates a sense of humor and this painting made me smile! An immediate emotional response from the viewer is always a good thing. I like the visible brush strokes and the gestural mark making which says to me, this is a painting and the toilet just happens to be the subject. Wonderful complementary color scheme using yellow and violet and all the great neutrals that mixture will make.
